The ChARM measures how well children aged between 5 and 16 years old with cerebral plasy complete 21 common activities, using a 21 item questionnaire. The ChARM is not a mesure of a child's arm or hand ability. This means that if they only have one arm affected by cerebral plasy, they willcomplete some activities more easily than a child who has both arms affected. The ChARM is designed to be completed by the child's parent or guardian using a multiple choice question format.
