A scale developed to measure the concept of work instability following traumatic brain injury (TBI)

A Work Instability Scale questionnaire consisting of 36 statements developed from individuals with TBI. Answers are given using a binary TRUE / NOT TRUE format dependent on whether they apply to the respondent. The TBI-WIS is a simple, validated screening tool for Work Instability (the consequences of a mis-match between an individual's functional ability and their work tasks). This is a self-administered measure enabling the monitoring the risk of sickness absence/job retention within a TBI population.
