Easy-BILAG unifies the glossary, case report form and scoring algorithms required for BILAG-2004 assessments into a single colour-coded document.
In a validation exercise of 10 case vignettes completed by 30 Rheumatology professionals, Easy-BILAG improved the scoring accuracy, speed, and inter-rater reliability of BILAG-2004 assessments compared with the standard format published BILAG-2004 proforma. As a result, this tool is now the format recommended by British Isles Lupus Assessment Group.

An Essential Guide to BILAG-2004 scoring as well as the workbook of cases used in the Easy-BILAG validation exercise are also made available on this platform for educational and training purposes.
